The hygiene concept of herCAREER 2021

The following regulations concerning the herCAREER will apply regardless of the incidence as a result of this hygiene concept.

3-G proof for the entrance to the expo for visitors

Admission to the expo is granted to visitors who

  • can show a negative proof of testing (proof of a (negative) antigen rapid test, which is max. 24 hours old, a negative PCR test).
  • Exceptions to the test detection requirement apply for vaccinated and recovered persons and for children up to their sixth birthday.

Asymptomatic vaccinated and recovered persons, as well as children up to their sixth birthday, are exempt from proving a negative test result.

Vaccinated and convalescent

Who is considered vaccinated:

  • Individuals who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (with a vaccine licensed in the European Union), have proof of vaccination in English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish or in an electronic document, and for whom at least 14 days have passed since the final vaccination.

Who is considered recovered:

  • Individuals who have evidence of prior infection with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish, or in an electronic document. The testing must have been done by PCR method and must have been done at least 28 days, but not more than six months ago. If the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection occurred more than six months ago, the testing requirement is waived if a singular vaccine dose against COVID-19 can be detected in addition to the convalescent detection.

Vaccinated and recovered persons

  • Must not have typical symptoms of infection with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
  • Must have no current evidence of infection with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
  • Must present proof of vaccination or proof of recovery as defined by the SchAusnahmV.
  • The age of children and the identity of the persons must be proven by appropriate documents (identity card), if necessary.

On site

At the exhibition center
With our online registration / ticket purchase online, personal contact details of visitors are recorded in advance of herCAREER. The MOC’s modern ventilation systems are operated with the highest possible recirculation rate and are supported by fresh outside air.

On the exhibition stand
Wearing an FFP2 or medical mask indoors during the entire visit to the expo is mandatory for visitors. Both exhibitors and speakers may wear a medical mask. In outdoor areas, medical masks are mandatory if the minimum distance (1.5 meters) cannot be maintained. At the exhibition stand, a hygiene officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with hygiene and distance regulations and for disinfecting usable areas and exhibits. If the minimum distance of 1.5 meters is ensured and the persons involved have permanent standing or sitting positions, the mask requirement at the exhibition stands can be waived.

During the presentations in the Auditorium, LiveTrainingCenter, on the Podcast and Author MeetUp area.
Speakers can only remove their masks during the presentation. All visitors who have a permanent place to sit, where the minimum distance of 1.5 meters is guaranteed, can also remove their mask during this time. When entering and leaving the area (up to / from the area), the mask must be worn by all persons.

During MeetUps and Job-Offer-Talks
Speakers may only remove their masks during the presentation. All visitors who have taken a permanent standing room may also remove their masks during this time. When entering and leaving the area (to / from the area), the mask must be worn by all persons.

Kiosk areas / catering areas / restaurant
No 3G proof is required when purchasing food and beverages in the take-out kiosks. When consuming in the catering area (catering areas / restaurant), 3G proof must be provided.

Disinfection dispensers & cleaning
We place disinfection dispensers at all key locations on the site. Regularly touched surfaces (e.g. counters, tables, handrails) are cleaned more intensively.
