Today CERN employs over 2500 people, which makes over 2500 different reasons why CERN is such a great place to work! Having worked at CERN for more than 20 years in a variety of roles, I have well and truly found happiness in my workplace. What makes this so? Over the course of my presentation, I shall reveal the six key reasons which continue to motivate me in my career at CERN, and which might also entice you to find professional joy at CERN too.

Details about the speaker Rachel Bray
Vita: Rachel Bray is the head of the unique and vibrant CERN Alumni Network, for which she was community manager from 2017 to 2020. Prior to this she worked for 8 years in CERN's Engineering Department, in the domain of Product Lifecycle Management and 9 years within the IT section of CERN Supplies Procurement and Logistics Department. In her spare time Rachel is Chair of the CERN Clubs' Coordinating Committee, Founder, President and Zumba instructor at the CERN Fitness Club. Rachel serves on the Continental Europe CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) board and the Association of Sports Committees of European Research Institutes board.
