Vita: Nahid Shahalimi was forced to leave Afghanistan in 1985. She and her family fled to Canada before moving to Munich, where she today lives as a mother, an author, a human rights activist, a filmmaker and an international artist. Her latest project is the documentary film “We the Women of Afghanistan: a silent revolution”, which kicked off in March 2018, with a special World Premier screening at the United Nations’ headquarters in New York City. Additionally, Nahid is an active member of UNICEF Germany’s National Committee and she is the founder and chairwoman of Hope Foundation for Women and Children of Afghanistan (2007). Her Motto: “Never give up, there is no such thing as failure.

Vita: Sinead Bunting is the VP of Marketing for Monster in Europe. Sinead is passionate about encouraging diversity in business and has forged initiatives to help groups who need an extra helping hand in their career. This has included nationwide ‘Monster Confidence’ tours, to help female students feel confident to achieve in their STEM careers and realise their potential. She is the author and co-founder of the Tech Talent Charter, an industry-wide collective, whose aim is to deliver a more diverse tech workforce. The charter is supported by the UK government and currently has over 200 signatories such as Monster, Cisco, Vodafone and HP.
