Go for it! A scientific perspective on unconscious biases and inner barriers when chasing ambitious goals
Despite equal abilities and education, many women are still less inclined to pursue ambitious careers than men. In this session, you will learn in a scientifically sound but entertaining way how this effect is driven by unconscious biases and prevailing gender stereotypes. An introductory talk will shed light on several eye-opening studies that investigated gendered behaviour and equip you with knowledge about the underlying mechanisms. After that, we will jointly reflect own experiences and discuss strategies for overcoming inner barriers to pursue ambitious goals.
