Rolls-Royce Deutschland LTD. & Co.KG

Rolls-Royce is a leading global manufacturer of propulsion systems and is represented in Germany by the Civil Aviation, Electrical, Defence and Power Systems divisions. Around 3,200 people are employed here. The Dahlewitz site is the centre of competence for twin-shaft engines - the development and final assembly of the BR700 and Pearl engines are located here. To date, more than 8,000 engines have been delivered from the site, and around 8,500 engines are being serviced worldwide. A development and test centre for the world’s most powerful aviation gearbox, a key component for the UltraFan® engine, was opened in 2017. A centre for artificial intelligence opened in Dahlewitz in 2019.

Vita: Ulrike ist Teamleiterin bei Rolls-Royce Deutschland im Bereich Vibrations- und Brennkammertests. Mit ihrem 12-köpfigen Team führt sie vorallem Lebensdauertests von Triebwerksschaufeln für alle globalen Rolls-Royce Projekte durch. Außerdem testet ihr Team Vollringbrennkammern am Brennkammerprüfstand des Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt in Köln. Ulrike stieg vor 10 Jahren bei Rolls-Royce Deutschland im Bereich Services als Safety & Reliability-Ingenieurin ein. Nach verschiedenen Stationen im Service wechselte sie 2018 in den Entwicklungsbereich und im März 2022 zum Komponententest.
