Details about the speaker Maria Rinaldi
Vita: Maria is a young professional, contributing to breakthrough technology innovation with her diverse range of hard- and soft-skills. Graduating in Turbomachinery Engineering, Rolls-Royce’s jet engines let her fall in love at first sight. Immediately, she took the R&D challenge to analyse the impact of a new designs and new materials on the life and integrity of a disc turbine. It was clear for her that the Graduate Program at Rolls-Royce was the best next step to expand her horizon and to set the basis for a successful career. At Rolls-Royce Power Systems, one of the global Rolls-Royce company’s businesses with a diverse range of applications, she supported the network of distributors and subsidiaries by steering financial and operational KPIs and by performing contract management tasks. This facilitated business decisions and market growth. She is an expert of Global Service Solution Development and used to lead a cross-functional team “Equipment Health Management-Operations” aiming to globally establish a new service offering infrastructure with the final ambitious scope to reducing unplanned downtimes – one of the most important customer needs. Maria is now working for the newest, dynamic business division of Rolls-Royce, Rolls-Royce Electrical, as a Strategy and Business Development Manager, with the aim of developing strategic industry partnerships heading towards the common goal of reducing the environmental impact of flight. Maria engages with the global Rolls-Royce Electrical team, which operate across seven locations in six countries, from both the Munich site and her home-office.
