Delivery Hero takes a more virtual approach to work. Our company has adopted a hybrid working model - meaning our Heroes can decide on a day to day basis whether they want to go to the office, or work from home.
We also understand that being able to work from abroad is significant to today's workforce, and that is why Delivery Hero offers our Heroes 30 days working from abroad per calendar year, provided you have the right to work in the country you are visiting.

Due to the global nature of our company and our presence in 50 countries around the world, our hybrid model has really helped in maintaining relationships with our global community and working together to deliver solutions in a covid world.
With our hybrid working model, we ensure that all of our meetings are done virtually, so nobody misses out. Our meeting rooms in the office have screens with cameras, mics and speakers, so that a meeting with people at home, people in the office, and with our colleagues around the world, works perfectly well.

Pivoting into tech - How women of all backgrounds can make a difference
Henrieke has changed her career path a number of times. In this talk, she will share how you too can effectively transition into tech from other careers, and why it can be a win-win for women and tech companies alike.
She will also dive into the challenges and learnings involved in switching from a female dominated environment (Humanitarian) to a more male dominated environment (Tech). Her talk will explore the positive impact women can have in these environments, and why female presence is important in these fields.
Finally, she will debunk some myths around which skills are beneficial to succeed in technical roles.

In her day-to-day, she works with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers to provide strategic insights into the market dynamics in the food industry. Having previously worked in humanitarian aid and management consulting, she is excited about encouraging women from all kinds of career and educational backgrounds to join tech companies.
