Diversity & Talent Management – breaking with stereotypical prejudices of women’s competence in handling technology
When it comes to technology (and related degrees and professions), prejudices prevent equal access for women, stereotypes have women be perceived as rather incompetent in handling them and the majority of men in the development of new technological products means that these are also primarily developed from their perspective – why though? In my talk I will discuss current scientific and economic findings on the relationship between gender and tech and how we can break with the corresponding biases.
