Vita: Vali Zagar is a Data engineer at the IT company CROZ, where she has been a part of the Data Integration and Analytics Services team for 10 years. Although CROZ has IT experts in various fields (Cloud Native and DevOps, Business Agility, Integrations, Artificial Intelligence), its Data department focuses on data integration and analysis, successfully collaborating with other departments.

In addition to project activities, Vali also conducts courses where she willingly shares her knowledge and experiences, educating clients on how to best utilize the full potential of data and transform it into valuable information. She is involved in designing summer student internships, thus mentoring young individuals. She leads an enthusiastic team whose primary interest lies in data analysis and visualization.

Vali considers the greatest challenge to be raising awareness about underutilized or misused data. However, she is particularly pleased with the growing trend of recognizing the importance of data, as they are there to facilitate everyday life, both personally and professionally.

When not dedicated to data, she relaxes by preparing pastries, and then burns off the consumed calories through engaging in various sports activities like tennis. However, her favourite season is winter, during which she would prefer to spend every free moment skiing in the mountains.
