Details zum/r Referent/in Christelle Al Haddad
Vita: Christelle Haddad is a PhD Candidate and researcher at the Technical University of Munich, the Chair of Transportation Systems Engineering, where she leads the „Human Factors“ research group. Her research interests include behavioral modeling in transportation, including road safety, emerging transportation systems (such as urban air mobility), but also gender aspects of transportation. She is highly engaged in the EIT community, and is in fact an active member in the EIT Doctoral Training Network (DTN) program for urban mobility, where she learns how to bring in entrepreneurship aspects to an academic environment. She is also an active member in the EIT urban air mobility (UAM) special interest group (SIG). Committed in the urban mobility sector, her experience encompasses both academic and non-academic aspects. For the former, she is an instructor in various courses of the Transportation Systems master’s program and has supervised various master theses and study projects. Christelle also has a strong managerial portfolio; in particular, she has led European and German-funded projects for the past few years. She has also been invited as an expert in urban mobility on various occasions. Her participation in the research and academic world is reflected in her high-quality publications; she has published numerous journal articles and conference proceedings in only a few years.

Being a collaborator in EIT Women Christelle aims to empower women in STEM and engineering, to take up leading roles, but also to network with a larger community. Her hobbies and interests include traveling, singing, and meeting people from different cultures and background. Christelle is able to communicate effectively in five languages (English, French, Arabic, Spanish, and German).
