Vita: Fiona Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic operations within the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Currently, she holds the position of Global Production Head of Business Excellence at BSH Hausgeräte GmbH in Munich, Germany. In this role, Fiona is accountable for all process and governance topics related to Industry 4.0, lean production, production technology, and strategy across more than 35 factories worldwide.
Previously, she served as Head of Steering, Planning & Footprint and Head of the Project Management Office at BSH, where she defined and implemented the global production strategy and developed the global manufacturing footprint. Fiona has actively promoted female diversity in production and is passionate about raising awareness and support for women in technology.
Before her current position, she worked as a Senior Manager in Corporate Strategy Operations, collaborating with the corporate board on strategic initiatives and managing significant projects. Her career started at KPMG AG as a Manager in Consulting Strategy & Operations, where she handled cross-functional projects and supply chain optimization.
Fiona’s experience also includes her role as Sub-System Manager for new engine development at Rolls-Royce Plc, where she led the successful development of the Trent 1000 combustion module and managed a global project team. She also served as a Program Manager and Project Management Graduate Trainee at Rolls-Royce.
