The focus is on structural levers rather than individual self-optimisation, guided by the key question: What can employers, leaders and teams do to ensure that New Work doesn’t become New Stress?

Vita: Lea Hildermeier works at the intersection of education, digital policy, and participation. She advocates for equitable structures, mental health and social inclusion in the education sector. As a speaker, higher education activist and author, she explores how democratic participation can succeed in both digital and institutional contexts, beyond symbolic gestures. Her focus lies in connecting educational policy with digital political issues: How do digital structures impact mental well-being? And how can participation go beyond mere representation? She addresses these questions in workshops, keynotes and advisory roles, including at the Digital Summit of the German Federal Government, re:publica and Online Educa Berlin. Lea is involved in nationwide participation projects such as the Common Grounds Forum and the DigitalChangeMaker initiative. In this context, she develops workshops and publications on digital transformation in education, with topics including co-creation, the use of AI in teaching and critical approaches to technology. In panels and talks, she represents an interdisciplinary, young perspective. She holds an academic background in English Studies and Educational Science and works as a student assistant for the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung at the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE). There, she contributes to projects on higher education policy, digital well-being and project management.
