Dr. Rebekka Reinhard earned her PhD in 2001 at the Free University of Berlin in contemporary American and French philosophy (“summa cum laude”) and has been an international speaker since 2007 for companies and organizations such as Bosch, Beiersdorf, Microsoft, SAP, the European Forum Alpbach, the City of Munich, and the University of Cambridge. She is also known for her podcast “Was sagen Sie dazu?” (produced for the Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft wbg), which, between 2020 and 2022, became the most-listened-to German-language non-fiction podcast, featuring guests like Mai Thi Nguyen Kim, Julia Jäkel, Richard David Precht, and Joe Kaeser.
At Ludwig (Random House), the SPIEGEL bestselling author has published numerous titles, including The Meaning Diet (2009), Odysseus or The Art of Erring (2010), Thinking Awake (2020), and most recently The Art of Being Good (2023).
In 2023, she founded human, Germany’s first magazine with international ambitions that systematically and multidisciplinary examines the impact of artificial intelligence on business, politics, and society — always placing the human being at the center. Contributors include renowned experts from various AI-related and AI-relevant disciplines, among them the world’s most-cited economist Carl B. Frey (Oxford), computational linguist and multiple supervisory board member Feiyu Xu, Director of the Stanford Digital Lab Erik Brynjolfsson (Stanford), and 2024 Nobel Laureate in Economics Daron Acemoglu (MIT).
Since 2025, the “Free Style Feminist” has been continuously and innovatively developing the human brand through her own company, philosophy works GmbH, aiming to keep pace with rapid technological change and to provide strategic leaders with high-quality, ethically grounded guidance on the topics of AI and transformation.
