Sara stands for democratic values, equal opportunities and diversity. She herself brings a wide range of biographical perspectives to the table: she grew up in the Ruhr region, with a ‘just do it’ mentality, Lebanese-German roots and a life that has taken her between crafts, culture and tech.

She studied business administration, cultural studies and philosophy before dedicating herself to the Swiss cultural sector, the interim management and handover of her parents’ bakery and the founding of her first social start-up. Her focus has always been on promoting equal rights and the visibility of women and diverse voices in business and society.

As co-founder and managing director of PENEMUE, she now ensures that people are protected from online hate and digital violence.
