Stephanie Wissmann
Founder & Managing Director of secubloxResearcher at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich and the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia
Stephanie Wissmann has been working at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship and social change for over 15 years – where innovation meets implementation. As founder and CEO of Secublox, a multi-award-winning deep tech start-up, she develops resilience-oriented technologies for digital sovereignty: from AI-supported deepfake prevention to interoperable trust systems for public infrastructure. Secublox is a NATO DIANA company, SPRIND-funded and winner of the Best Startup Award at the Berlin Security Conference 2023.
In her research role at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich and the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia, she investigates how digital technologies are transforming work, identity, trust and governance – with a particular focus on security-related innovations and adaptive forms of organisation. Her goal: to translate scientific findings into sustainable strategies and viable business models.
Her perspective on resilience is systemic: Wissmann understands resilience not only as a reaction to disruptions, but as a proactive design approach – intelligent, networked, human-centred. She combines technological clarity with cultural sensitivity, strategic thinking with radical curiosity and a feel for the dynamics of complex systems.
In addition to her professional activities, she is committed to interdisciplinary exchange: she organises private dinners, runs a digital book club and writes about the intersections of technology, society and the future. Her motivation: to create spaces where new questions arise – because that is where tomorrow’s resilience begins.
