Prof. Dr Marion A. Weissenberger-Eibl heads the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe and holds the Chair of Innovation and Technology Management at the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Technology Management and Innovation at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). She works on the conditions under which innovations are created and their effects. She has repeatedly been recognised as one of the 100 most influential women in German business. She studied clothing engineering and business administration and completed her doctorate and habilitation at the Technical University of Munich. In business and politics, she is a valued expert in the focus areas of innovation, futurology, digitalisation, AI and sustainability.
