Vincent-Immanuel Herr (born 1988) owes it to his family that he was exposed to issues of justice and political debates at an early age. It was not uncommon for him to discuss feminism and the role of the individual in social progress with his parents and sister at the dinner table. After graduating from Goethe Gymnasium in Berlin, he studied history, sociology and politics in the USA (Bachelor of Arts) and in Germany (Master of Arts).

He is part of the consulting and writing duo ‘Herr & Speer’. They write articles and books, give keynotes and hold workshops. Together, they are HeForShe ambassadors for UN WOMEN Germany and were appointed to the Gender Equality Advisory Council of the G7 countries (GEAC) in 2022. Their commitment has been recognised with several awards, including the Jean Monnet Prize for European Integration, the Innovation in Politics Award, the Bayreuth Role Model Award and the Blue Bear of the City of Berlin.
