Details about the speaker Shelley Cantrick
Vita: Shelley Cantrick is Vice President at Deutsche Bank, leading ESG Implementation and Transformation for the Investment Bank’s Origination and Advisory division. In her current role, she drives initiatives across sustainable and transition finance, net zero strategy, and sustainability operations. Since joining Deutsche Bank in 2017 as a Graduate Trainee, Shelley has held roles in strategic execution within Corporate Cash Management and served as Executive Assistant to the Management Board member for the Americas. A Seattle native, Shelley holds a B.A. in Music from Rice University and a B.Sc. in Economics and Business from Goethe University Frankfurt. She is a member of the NextGen SteerCo at the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany, and was a member of the NextGen Program 2023-2024. Shelley is an avid cyclist, is actively involved in music ministry, youth leadership, as well as community service in Central Africa.

Vita: Julia is an industrial engineer, cooling technology inventor and CEO at Coolar, a company pioneering heat-driven,100% water-based cooling systems. With her team she built and deployed the Coolar off-grid medical refrigerator that can enable electricity-independent cold storage for life-saving vaccines and medicines in regions without reliable electricity where clinics serving over one billion people worldwide struggle to provide access to medicines that need reliable cooling. In 2014 - while still a student TU Berlin - she started the project that became her company Coolar, which she has since led as co-founder and CEO. In addition to her career as an entrepreneur and inventor, Julia is passionate about environmental advocacy and has served on the board of BUND e. V. (Friends of the Earth Germany, the country's largest environmental NGO) for over nine years, among other activities. Due to her leadership in pushing for sustainability and innovation she was chosen to advise the federal government of Germany on innovation policy as a member of the Hightech-Forum 2019-201, i.e. promoting new legislation on tax benefits for R&D activities, as well as government support for social entrepreneurship and innovation.

Vita: Dr. Fidelis Stuchtey is an accomplished professional with a background as medical doctor with business and management expertise. Fidelis received her doctorate in human medicine from the Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg in 2021 and complemented her medical training with business education through The Power Business School's MBA program in 2023. Driven by the intent of creating positive societal impact and her passion for finding solutions to complex topics, Fidelis joined The Landbanking Group, a Munich-based Nature Fintech company building infrastructure for a nature-based economy in 2022. Starting as People and Culture Manager within TLG, she expanded her responsibilities by steering the commercial team in her additional role as Sales Manager. In her commercial capacity, Fidelis actively drives strategic business development initiatives, spearheads sales outreach efforts, and manages key client relationships while contributing to revenue targets. She plays a pivotal role in the strategic steering of go-to-market efforts, leading market access partnerships, supporting product launches, and developing commercial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. Drawing from her medical background and business training, she brings a systems-thinking approach to both commercial success and organizational development, helping align The Landbanking Group's mission to stop nature loss with sustainable business practices across the organization's global team of over 40 employees.
