Vita: Ksenia holds a PhD in neuroscience from the Max-Planck Institute of Neurobiology, where her research on learning and memory in zebrafish sparked a fascination with both biological and artificial intelligence. Driven by a desire to explore diverse applications of these insights, she transitioned from academia into deep learning engineering. Ksenia spent several years developing computer vision solutions for autonomous vehicles, 'teaching' cars to understand their surroundings. In 2022 she joined the startup Orbem as Head of AI, where she leads a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. Together with other multi-disciplinary teams at Orbem they are harnessing the power of AI-powered MRI technology to address sustainability and animal welfare challenges within the food industry.

Vita: Johanna is a Senior Business Development Manager at Orbem, where she develops new applications for AI-powered MRI. Before transitioning into the tech sector, she founded Kula Kalo, an online platform for sustainably crafted jewellery. Her path combines entrepreneurial experience with a continued focus on impact. Johanna holds a Master’s degree from HEC Paris, where she specialised in Sustainability and Social Innovation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from LMU Munich.
