What Role Do You Play? Rethinking AI and Responsibility

It is no longer about what AI systems can do, because we already know they can do a lot. The real question is: what are the consequences, and what role do we have to play? In this session, we will begin with a brief overview of how far AI systems have come, and then shift focus to the risks and harms they pose. Together, we will reflect on what these systems mean for us as humans and how we can each contribute to mitigating their negative impacts. Whether you are an AI developer or an AI user, everyone has a role to play.
