Janine Steeger is a trained television journalist with almost 20 years of experience in front of and behind the camera. She has worked for both public and private broadcasters as an editor, reporter, presenter and in management positions. In 2015, she specialised in sustainability and environmental protection and completed the distance learning course ‘Corporate Environmental Management and Environmental Economics’. In 2020, she published her first book ‘Going Green – why you don’t have to be perfect to save the climate’, followed in 2022 by ‘Why women will save the world – and men are essential’, together with Ines Imdahl. Steeger is also co-founder of futurewoman.de, a portal where event organisers and editorial teams can search specifically for female sustainability experts.
