Mareike Pophanken is a trained industrial engineer as well as a mechanical engineer. Her enthusiasm for technology and aircraft led her relatively quickly to Lufthansa Technik after her studies, the worldwide leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. Her now almost 10-year journey with Lufthansa Technik began as an engineer for repair processes of engine components, before she then transitioned to the Design Organization to develop new repair methods. Since the beginning of 2022, she has been leading a 9-member engineering team as the Head of Digital Solutions for the digital TechOPS platform AVIATAR.
