Details about the speaker Sangeeta Singh
Vita: I come from a small town in India, where my parents taught me the importance of always learning new things. I graduated in Natural Science and in Education and completed my masters in Human Resources Management and started my dream career in Teaching in India. I worked as a successful teacher for more than 8 years there. However Life took an unexpected turn when I decided to relocate with my family to Germany. The prospect of experiencing a new culture while continuing my teaching profession filled me with excitement and anticipation. However, Germany had some surprises in store. The language barrier emerged as a formidable challenge, hampering my ability to communicate effectively. On the top of it, getting approval for my degrees in Germany was a complicated process. I visited office after office to validate it. Even after learning the language, getting approval for my degrees was tough.
At this time, ReDI School became my sanctuary, a place where I discovered a newfound passion for Information Technology (IT) and project management. I encountered individuals who shared my enthusiasm and were eager to support one another in our collective journey of learning and growth. It was a pivotal moment in my life, a realization that new doors were opening before me.
One of the most valuable lessons I learned during this period was the significance of building connections and networking. I proactively reached out to professionals in the IT industry, attended industry events, and became an active participant in online IT communities.
The journey was not without its share of challenges. Moments of frustration, self-doubt, and the omnipresent fear of failure punctuated my path. Yet, I was enveloped by a circle of supportive and optimistic individuals who buoyed me during the most trying times. Their encouragement and unwavering belief in my potential were instrumental in helping me navigate the toughest moments of my transformation.I learn skills, completed many project management certifications. I also invested considerable effort in mastering the art of job applications and excelling in interviews. Crafting effective resumes, tailoring cover letters, and confidently articulating my experiences and skills during interviews were skills foreign to me.
Finally a dream was realised and the learning continued...
