Julia Post

City council member of the state capital Munich, supervisory board member of Messe München, board member
SEND - Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland e.V.

After completing her hotel management training and earning a Master’s degree in political science, Julia Post launched the “Coffee To Go Again” project in 2015 to reduce the use of disposable cups. This not only led her into politics and the Munich civil society, where she served as a board member of the Munich Greens and was involved with the Klimaherbst e. V. network for four years, but it also served as the catalyst for her professional independence. Through her successful crowdfunding campaign, she became familiar with the field of social entrepreneurship and founded her political consultancy, “Open Your Window,” in 2017, catering to NGOs, foundations, and social profit organizations.

In addition to this, since 2019, she has been actively engaged as a board member of the Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland e. V. (Social Entrepreneurship Network Germany). Since 2020, she has been a city council member for the Green Party in Munich, responsible for the area of economics within her faction. Her other focus areas include finance, digitalization, and the environment. Through her podcast, “Frauenlobby,” she, along with her guests, provides insights into the world of political work.
