Kathrin Werner

Kathrin Werner, born in 1983, is the team leader in the business department of Süddeutsche Zeitung and responsible for all topics related to the world of work, climate, energy, and mobility. She discovered her passion for reporting as a student and worked for the Hessisch-Niedersächsische Allgemeine. She then studied law in Hamburg and started working for the financial newspaper Financial Times Deutschland. In the early summer of 2013, she joined Süddeutsche Zeitung, not in Munich, but in New York, where she worked as a correspondent.

Since 2019, Kathrin Werner has returned to Germany and works at the SZ headquarters in Munich.
